This novel will take you to Joseon Dynasty Korea in 1783.

Through the story, you’ll learn about the customs and traditions of that time, and it will be truly exciting. Especially if you’re a fan of historical K-dramas (사극 드라마), you’ll find it incredibly useful. I’ve also organized the speech patterns and expressions used in that era, making it easier for you to follow the storylines and dialogues when watching 사극.

The format—grammar notes, quizzes, chapter length, and so on—is the same as in the My Future Sister-In-Law series. So if you’ve already read that series, studying with this one will feel smooth and familiar. Ah, and one more thing: Volume 1 is longer than that of My Future Sister-In-Law, and the whole series will span four volumes.

Interestingly, I actually had ZERO plans to write a historical romance novel. But one Monday morning several months ago, the entire story just came to me while I was sitting at my desk, staring at the wall, not knowing what to do next. 😳 I couldn’t stop myself—I just had to start typing and keep adding more and more details. It truly felt magical. (I’ll share more about it later!)

I always put my soul into all my books and content, but The Moon Caught in the Pine Tree feels all the more special for this reason. ❤️

Your review means a lot to me! If you leave a review on Amazon or Google Play Books, just email me a quick screenshot. As a thank-you, I’ll send you a downloadable Korean Script Mini-Book in PDF format (full-color illustrations; no English translations). It’s the perfect way to test your reading skills and enjoy the story in a new way.

Enjoy the story that my beloved characters play out. To me, they are like my own children (though I don’t have any in real life) I brought into the world with a MacBook and a loud keyboard. 😁 I hope you’ll adore them just as much as I do.

Thank you so much always 🙏

[Update on 2026/03/14]
